Elise's surgery

The first surgery in January (done by the dermatologist).
Before

After (I think they look like Frankenstien stiches)

The second surgery (done last week by a plastic surgeon)

 My happy, brave baby girl

Scattered Pictures

Just playing
 Catching butterflies.

Hiking Red Rock with our good friends the Giani family.
Mommy Daughter date (while Daddy was at the Priesthood session) to Dairy Queen. :)
Timothy's (3rd from the right) farewell talk before he leaves on his mission to Panama City!
 Always dressing up.
Testing out the fake grass at our local nursery.
 Checking out the solar eclipse.

We must not have been at exactly the right latitude for the full "ring of fire," but still cool.
 cresent shadows...
 Artsy Isis.
Elise's incresed ability to draw faces.
 I was impressed. :)

Water Play

We've been beating the heat in the water since April... :)
Her face doesn't show it here but Elise really enjoys a good back float.
 My little fish.
Elise loves to dunk any willing participant.
Playing with the hose is the best!
Why yes, Elise, I did want that patio mopped...
 Whoa that shoots high!

All Grown Up

Isis told me that when she turned 5 she'd be all grown up. So here's my grown up girl. :)

How is she 5 already??

Easter

Obviously Easter came and went. Here are the girls in their Easter dresses.

Elise's personality never ceases to crack me up.

Soccer Pictures

Jeremy was pretty excited when I signed Isis up for soccer. He made sure to sit down and explain the game to her.

By chance, Jeremy ended up coaching Isis' team. He loved it. :)
The most it looked like Isis tried. :) She fell down once and suddenly she didn't like soccer anymore.
But she tried it this time. Maybe again in the future.

sigh....

Yep, falling behind again. But let's see, what's new? Still pregnant, that's good, but hopefully not for much longer. :) Elise had surgery on her cheek; I will post pictures of that ordeal soon. We bought a new house and are chipping away at fixing it up to be "home." This house is (was) up for short sale so we will be moving. When is the question... before the baby? after the baby? Who knows? Isis is SUPER excited to start Kindergarten in the fall. Jeremy's been on work trips at least once a month since starting this new job, and just got back from one to Kansas City. He's a good man and said he needs to not travel for the rest of June and July. My sister Katherine is going to live with us for the summer. This is good for both of us since I practically get a live in nanny and she gets to save for her trip to ANTARTICA in December. :)
Hmm.. what else? That's really it. My life is my kiddos (the ones present and anticipated), packing, painting, cleaning, lots of swimming, and regular home managing stuff.
I do feel a little guilty not posting regularly... especially when I peek into your lives so often. I'm just so stinkin' tired! :) I'll get some pictures up soon; they're more interesting to see anyway. Maybe I'll do that now since Jeremy just fell asleep on the couch. :)

HOORAY!!!!

HOORAY!!! The Nuclear Regulatory Commission Chairman has put in his resignation!!! The Democrat particle physicist in charge of regulating the nation's nuclear reactors and nuclear material has thrown in the towel after 3 grueling years of being a political puppet!!! Appointed by Bush to be the chairman by the political pressure of Harry Reid holding up more than 100 other appointees in the senate, our dear chairman had pure safety minded goals to achieve. After derailing the Yucca Mountain nuclear repository review, he did the bidding of his puppet master and his job was done. Or did he resign because a SECOND report by the NRC Inspector General is due to come out about his "leadership" style very soon? It must be juicy because we already know that the 4 member BIPARTISAN commission took to Capitol Hill in January to air their grievances about the poor, sweet, lovable, political witch hunt victim of a chairman. They all testified that he has anger management issues, threatened employees who opposed him, withheld information from the commission for crucial votes, and made women cry at the office. This report will be a must read!!! HOORAY and good riddance... whenever the President/Congress can replace you (Jan 2013 if a Republican wins or June 2013 if Obama wins)!!! Did I mention hooray?
P.S. I would gladly take his job... just saying if anybody knows somebody. I at least have stepped into a nuclear reactor facility in my life.

Last Dance

Isis has been attending a little dance class but will be taking a break (as the teacher won't be teaching anymore). Elise had fun dancing with her during her last class.
Look at this litte dancer's poses. :) So cute.

Day at the Beach

One the same weekend we visited Newport Beach.
Funny, funny girl.
